Better air quality and less dust in the Wecoat production hall

Challenge: Dust development in production

Considerable dust was generated in the department where galvanized parts are post-processed in preparation for coating. This dust can spread throughout the production environment and impact the air quality on the work floor, the pollution of the production environment, and the quality of subsequent processes. To prevent unwanted dust spread and further optimize working conditions, Wecoat sought an effective and easily implementable solution.

From test setup to final solution

ENS Clean Air began a pilot with an Aufero air purification system in the processing department. This demonstrated that the capture technology is excellent at capturing large quantities of suspended dust. As a next step, and based on ENS's advice, Wecoat decided to install two Aufero systems that recirculate the air in the production hall while simultaneously capturing the suspended dust.
