What a year it has been!

ENS Clean Air turns 11 years

A cause for celebration, ENS is 11 years old today! Last year we celebrated our 10th anniversary, looking back on 10 interesting years filled with educational and beautiful moments. This year, through various collaborations, ENS has been able to participate in many beautiful projects. Partially because of this, we were able to attend many interesting events which makes us very proud!

Nominations

Shortly after our 10th anniversary, we received the news that the Ion Dust Shield from Bomag, an asphalt milling machine with our air purification technology, was nominated for the Bauma Innovation Awards. They eventually won the silver prize and this made us very proud! Also did we get nominated by the Solar Impulse Foundation as being one of the thousand solution being able to combine ‘economic profitability and environmental sustainability.’

Clean air at Parisian stations

Last summer, ENS was part of a research project in Paris for three months. During this project, several innovative solutions were deployed to improve air quality in underground train and metro stations. For this project, participants Suez and Air Liquide chose the air purification technology of ENS Clean Air. This was a great compliment for us!

Collaboration with Interparking

In July, ENS and Interparking decided to jointly create cleaner air in parking garages and their surroundings; the parking garages as air-purifying lungs of the city. Ten Belgian and French parking garages have now been fitted with our air purification systems, and this year more parking garages in Europe will also be equipped to contribute to a cleaner living environment in and around the parking garages. Chapeau Interparking!

Trade mission to South Korea and India

During the closing event of the Fempower Your Growth Program, a series of financial master classes for ambitious female entrepreneurs, managing director Esmée van de Vorle was invited by Her Majesty Queen Maxima to join a trade mission to India. About four weeks later, one week after the return of a successful EU Gateway trade mission in South Korea, ENS pitched at the Tech Summit in New Delhi for Queen Maxima, King Willem-Alexander, State Secretary Mona Keijzer and a team of Indian hosts. This was a special experience for ENS!

In short, we look back on a successful and beautiful year. Also this year, we remain committed to offering and developing sustainable clean air solutions for a safe and healthy living environment. Clean air must be possible for everyone!
