Odour emissions from food production companies can cause nuisance in the area. This often leads to unpleasant and unhealthy situations from local residents and surrounding companies, resulting in complaints. To prevent or remedy these situations, ENS Clean Air offers sustainable odour reduction solutions.
For PepsiCo Netherlands (location: Broek op Langedijk), ENS has helped reduce odor emissions to acceptable levels at several production lines. After an initial installation of our industrial air purifiers, a control measurement was carried out by an external agency. The results were impressive: the average odor concentration was reduced by more than 70%, which led to the required reduction in nuisance for the local residents who experienced the nuisance. After this successful installation, our solution was applied to multiple production lines.
The installation of our system was not only effective, but also efficient. The systems were installed within one day, without having to stop the production line. Furthermore, the system was connected to the existing pipework of the factory, which eliminated additional costs and modifications. A neighborhood survey after the installation showed that the nuisance had been significantly reduced, which satisfied both PepsiCo and the neighborhood.
