ENS participates in trade mission in India

A royal invitation

Last week the Dutch news was filled with items regarding the Dutch Royals and their state visit to India. Besides the state visit, the royal couple was also participating in several activities regarding the trade mission that was taking place in the same week. One hundred and fifty Dutch companies tagged along on the trade mission and our ENS Clean Air was one of those companies!

Trade mission India

The trade mission was organized in collaboration with the Netherlands-India Tech Summit, an event honouring a decade of innovative cooperation between India and the Netherlands and where both countries are looking ahead to how both countries will do so in the next ten years. This was being initiated by the Indian government and more than a thousand companies, organisations and senior government representatives were present this year.

A visit not to forget

During the closing event of the F€mpower Your Growth Program, a serie of master classes especially for female entrepreneurs, managing director Esmée happened to meet Royal Highness Queen Máxima. The queen told about the state visit to India, to which Esmée responded that she was only safe in one place, namely at the school of the American embassy. Mainly because one of our air purification systems is installed there. That moment the Queen reacted: ‘So I understand you are already active in India, then you should definitely join us on the trade mission.’

Tech summit

Just four weeks later ENS Clean Air was present on the Tech Summit in Delhi. During the event the main focus was the connection between agriculture, water and health care related subjects. The Tech Summit is being organized for innovative companies and research organizations that are interested in collaborating with Indian parties. For example, ENS Clean Air participated in the Key Enabling Technologies program

A special meeting

The first stop that the royal couple made at the event, was at ENS Clean Air’s booth. ‘It’s so nice to see you again!’ was the first thing Royal Highness Queen Máxima said after which she started explaining what ENS Clean Air did to her husband Royal Highness King Willem-Alexander. Together with a team of Indian hosts and state secretary Mona Keijzer, everyone’s attention was focused on ENS Clean Air’s story.
