Clean air at the Philadelphia Flower Show

From the 11th until 19th of March, the 188th edition of the Philadelphia Flower Show took place in the United States. The theme of this year’s flower show in the Pennsylvania Convention Center was: ‘Holland: Flowering the World’. Over 245,000 visitors came to admire the Dutch innovations in the field of greenery and sustainability. ENS contributed by cleaning the air.

Travelling Ecodome

The ‘Travelling Ecodome’ had a special role during the Philadelphia Flower Show. Last year, this travelling pavilion, which features innovations from the Dutch green sector, was located near the Maritime Museum in Amsterdam. Specially for the Philadelphia Flower Show, the Ecodome was transported from the Netherlands to the United States with three containers.

ENS placed an ‘Aufero’ air purification system at the heart of the stage of the Ecodome. This air purification system has a capacity of 10,000 m3/h and captures fine and ultrafine dust. This way, we created a pleasant and healthy indoor climate in the pavilion during the Philadelphia Flower Show.

Journey to Indonesië

The Ecodome is the green business card of the Netherlands and travels under the motto ‘The Netherlands as sustainable delta’ on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Currently, the Ecodome is on its way from Philadelphia to its next destination: Bogor (Jakarta) in Indonesia.
