Project Description

Interparking

Interparking realizes clean air in European parking garages and thereby contributes to cleaner and healthier city air.

Air purification in parking garages

In 2019, Interparking and ENS started their fight against particulate matter in cities. Beffroi in Namur (Belgium) had the scoop to be the first parking garage to purify the air. Various parking garages in Belgium and France are now equipped with our air purification systems and more parking garages will follow. By cleaning the air in the parking garage, Interparking contributes to a cleaner city environment.

Corporate responsibility

Since 2015, Interparking has been certified CO2 neutral and their next step is to create a healthier environment. As a result, the organization decided – as the first private parking facility – to equip parking garages with air purification systems in order to create a healthier environment for employees, visitors and local residents.

“Interparking is addressing the challenges that arise in terms of its social and environmental responsibility in different ways,” emphasizes Roland Cracco, CEO of Interparking. We believe that making a positive contribution to society and the environment is an integral part of our mission. »

The Interparking Group has been a household name in the parking world for more than 60 years. The organization has about 2,461 employees, spread over 397 cities, in 9 European countries. With 933 parking facilities in major European cities such as Amsterdam, Paris, Vienna, Brussels and Barcelona, Interparking is one of the market leaders in parking.
