In most industries dust is generated during production. As a result, the dust, that predominantly consist of harmful particulate matter, may also contain dangerous, often carcinogenic substances such as quartz, fine metal particles or asbestos. It is therefore important to control the concentration of inhalable and respirable dust, for the health of employees, but also for the people in adjacent offices.
ENS Clean Air offers solutions for indoor air quality improvement as well as for control of dust and odor emissions to the environment. Because our systems work without physical filters the capacity and efficiency remains high and the pressure loss in the system is minimal. The technology is scalable and effective for large volumes of air at high air speed.
Based on our experience, every production facility needs a tailor-made approach to adequately target the air quality issues present. Sometimes source treatment is the best option, in other cases we focus on creating clean air zones for the workers. In some case we do both.
In all cases we approach the challenge analytically, taking into account practical experiences from the working floor, a technical review of the factory and its ventilation characteristics and if needed perform measurements and simulations.
This approach allows us to focus on what is needed to improve the situation, even targeting for specific airborne substances, big or small. This universal approach is applicable for the majority of material processing industries (metal, mineral, wood, etc.), assembly factories and warehouses.
